The purpose behind this project is to document the Menan Buttes in Southeast Idaho. Along with physical features of the two inactive volcanoes, it also focuses on how humans have changed the natural features of the area by building homes and developing farms. Here are just a few of the pictures I've taken over the past year.
This was a group assignment which required each student to find an area and then take down the GPS coordinates of that location. They took a picture of there location and then gave their coordinates to the rest of the students. Each student then went out and photographed these areas and tried to produce unique images. The images were not revealed to the class until after everyone had completed the assignment. These are some of the photographs I took of those locations.
This picture was a concept piece. We were each given an old saying, and then we had to illustrate that with a photo. My saying was, "Many hands make light work."
